J. Ed Araiza, Director (él/el/ellos)

Remy is thirteen years old and in eighth grade at a public performing arts school. Since seeing Matilda the Musical at age five, he has eagerly pursued musical theatre. He has performed with local youth theatres and is thrilled to debut in his first chamber opera performance of Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote. Recent roles have included Beetlejuice u/s for Junior Actors Company, Nigel Bottom u/s in Something Rotten with with JCompany youth theater, and Traveling Salesman in Music Man with SDSCPA Theatre. â€‹

 

Alongside singing, dancing, and acting, Remy enjoys baking, reading, video editing, spending time with his friends and puppy Kirby. He would like to warmly thank Diana and Walter DuMelle for this incredible opportunity, along with his vocal teacher Jonathan Nussman, his acting coach Shauna Markey, and Musical Director extraordinaire Kyle Adam Blair for helping him develop his passions. Remy is grateful to the outstanding cast of Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote for being a wonderful group to learn and grow with.
